Who is this Course For?

This course is for anyone who wants to learn "one stroke" techniques from the beginning, I will be starting from scratch and will teach you everything you need to know to be able to go out and confidently create one stroke designs on both children's and adult face painting jobs.

This course covers everything I would normally teach at one of my workshops, and you get to see "up close" in detail everything I am doing.

I will be showing you all the brushes I use and the techniques for painting flowers, leaves, roses, lilies, and also combining them with on point linework and layering with double dip petals. The course culminates in you creating 2 beautiful eye designs that you can go out and use on the job.

This class is taught by me, Karen Huwen, in the last 7 years I have won 12 industry awards for face and body art, including Face Painter of the Year, Body Artist of the Year, and Creative Makeup Artist of the Year.

I teach workshops all over the UK and further afield, am a teacher of facepainting at Kryolan Covent Garden and Screenface in London, and am a regular instructor at conventions in the UK and will be instructing at FABAIC USA in 2021.
